Avelardo ‘Chick’ ‘Manok’ Cacabelos
Avelardo “Chick” “Manok” Cacabelos, 84 years old of Puhi, Kauai passed away on June 16, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1933, in Lihue, Kauai, he was a retired plumber & a United States Army Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alexandra Marie Cacabelos.
He is survived by his children, Francine (Terry) Asuncion, Lewella Lopez, Dorene Asuncion, Ave Cacabelos, Jr., Amy (Eddie) Serafin, Ashley Cacabelos, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
