WAIMEA — Waimea Public Library is offering several family friendly events in June and July to celebrate the Hawaii State Public Library System’s 2017 Summer Reading Program.
On most Mondays starting at 6 p.m., the library will host a Family Movie Night.
On Wednesdays from 2-3 pm, children ages 5 and up are welcome to join the Builders’ Club to create with Legos.
And on Thursdays, the librarian will present an interactive Early Learning Storytime for families with children ages birth to five years.
The first 20-30 minutes are filled with stories, songs, and movement activities, and the rest of the program features open play for babies and toddlers and an art or craft project for older toddlers and preschool-aged children.
