Registration is open for the ninth annual Mayor-a-thon at Kapaa Beach Park on Saturday, June 24.
Residents and guests are enouraged to join Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. and Get Fit Kauai for this fun and free event that includes running, walking or biking, Zumba, music, exercises and free food and drink.
“There is something for every fitness level,” said a press release.
Dos are leashes are welcome. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m.
The first 500 pre-registered will receive a free T-Shirt and water bottle. Everyone will receive a free continental breakfast and cinch bag. Three will be prizes and drawings for bikes, resort stays and more.
Free buses will offer transportion from the the Westside and North Shore, with special prizes for bus riders.
