Work day set a Healing Horses

Healing Horses Kauai has been approved as a Master Gardener project site by the University of Hawaii.

A work day is scheduled 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday spearheaded by Sam Henriques, a volunteer with Healing Horses Kauai and the Master Gardener program. The plan is to develop a beautiful area with flowers and shade close to the arena.

Volunteers and loaner equipment are needed.

The scope of work will involve tilling the soil, laying out a medicine wheel and the installation of weed cloth and rocky paths.
