Chamber Music Kauai, Kauai’s only classically-oriented vocal and orchestral ensemble, will present its spring concerts at 7 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Michael and All Angels’ Church in Lihue.
The ensemble will be joined by flamenco guitarist Gilles Larrain, also an acclaimed photographer.
Greg Shepherd, a music professor at Kauai Community College, put Chamber Music Kauai together with the aim of bringing more classical music to Kauai.
Its members, about 30, range from keiki to kupuna, a mix of seasoned and novice.
The weekend’s shows will include group and solo pieces, instrument and chorus. Each show will be about an hour.
Admission is free with cash donations accepted.
