You know this is a big party weekend because Amber McClure came home for the Kauai Community College graduation where she and her parents John and Daphne McClure joined Sandi Kato-Klutke and Max to congratulate Nia (the Amber Lookalike) Klutke.

Nia and Mark Isoshima were among the KCC grads who were out serving breakfast at the Visitor Industry Charity Walk (what was that dish Alex Roth was raving about?), Saturday morning. Amber was working the Moloaa Bay Coffee and Chocolate (Melissa McFerrin-Warrack said they had a bunch of Mother’s Day specials among the vendors) at the Kauai Community Market (Liz Hahn said you gotta think puppy when checking out the bettas), and kudos to Sarah Tochiki and the Kauai All-Island Band on their great craft fair (you could hear the band’s drums from the market) where Megan Nii was checking out stuff ahead of the Wilcox School “Finale” (doors open at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the convention hall).
Congratulations to Yukie DeSilva (Uncle John Kaneholani already knew about it at the KYF football games) on winning the Central Pacific Bank “Anywhere Alaska Airlines Flies” prize (Ashley Nagaoka drew the winning ticket) at the Charity Walk, and congratulations to Ruth Murphy for winning the grand prize!
Now, off to Kauai Fashion Weekend with Marynel Valenzuela (what kind of dress is Sue Kanoho wearing this year?).
