Congratulations to Mary Lu Kelley and the People Attentive To Children group for winning the Table 53 (it’s in the RumFire restaurant at the Sheraton Kauai Resort) Lei Contest for nonprofit organizations! Mary Lu was at the Charity Walk (the big event is this Saturday!) Countdown Saturday (George Thronas did a great job emcee-ing the event, coming off a tandem gig with Maka Herrod at the Relay for Life!) to talk about PATCH.
Mary Lardizabal had her Kapaa Middle School group (double gold winners!) on hand, including Jotis Russell who won the Legacy Lives On award presented by Disney and the Heritage Music Festival during the music event in California.
Kudos to Faith Campbell (Logan has too much experience on that smoothie bike), Eva LaBarge, Andy Bestwick (Blaze Batoon was thrilled Ron Wiley got him on the air!), and don’t forget Rudy, the chief canine officer at Wilcox Medical Center, on a great Keiki Bike and Safety Day!
