Aloha and best wishes to Steve Lewis and the Speedie Lube ohana who will be closing its doors for good after the last car Saturday!
Where was Chaunte Sadora? Dorean Duhaylongsod said they all got the email to wear denim, but only Tori Jimie Craig knew that it was Denim Day to take a stand against sexual assault against women. Edie Ignacio Neumiller got all her Department of Water people wearing denim, too.
Kudos to Fran Roach and Kelly Pleas for hosting the Demo Day and Trunk Sale at the Hokuala Ocean Course pro shop. Aaron Tom (he played golf with Kenji Miyata in college) said he’s coming back with the Puma/Cobra line Saturday for the Demo Day at the Puakea Golf Course with the new clubs featuring one length.
He also had Puma shoes using the proprietary Disc laceless system which is similar to the Adidas (yep, that’s the same people who do the Shop and Score program with Times Supermarket) Boa boost Powerband technology which was developed in Japan.
Aaron also represents Ouray which is coming out with the new Ocean Course logo and the “Live Aloha” line which is appearing on a lot of the Hokuala items. Kelly said the pro shop even has Tori Richards aloha wear that just came in.
