Alice Akiko Oshita
Alice Akiko Oshita of Lihue passed away at home on March 27, at the age of 86. She was born in Hawaii on Nov. 21, 1930, and retired from Macy’s.
Preceded in death by her husband, Koichi Oshita; brothers, Isao, Kenchi, Toshio and Mitsuo Kagehiro; sisters, Janet Kagehiro and baby sister Kagehiro.
Alice is survived by four children, Noreen Roy, Bridgette Lynne Oshita, Lennet Ken Oshita, Alcyne (Stephen) Chung; 3 grandchildren, Kathryn (Noel) Roy Asuncion , Sierra Pilialoha Chung, Sereney Chung; great grandson, Joshua Asuncion; brother, Hisa (Choko) Kagehiro; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 6, at Aloha Church with visitation from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m. with refreshments to follow.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Oshita family with arrangements.

Ida Togadi Texeira, 83 years old, of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on March 22, 2017. Born in Lihue she was a retired nurse for Dr. Katok Chuang.
She was preceded in death by: husband, William “Billy” Texeira Sr. parents, Vebencio & Juana Togadi, husband, Billy Texeira Sr.
She is survived by: sons, Thomas Texeira, Lihue, William “Chucky” (Yvonne) Texeira, Maui, Alan “Robby” (Leoni) Texeira, Puhi, daughter, Brenda (Ernest) Javier, Koloa, 6 grandchildren: Cleve (Paige) Javier, Brandee (Les) Lovell-Obatake, Joni (Devin) Texeira, Mercy Texeira, Dawn Texeira, Kunani (Chelsea) Texeira and 8 great-grandchildren: Keana Lovell-Obatake, Lanakila Lovell-Obatake, Nakoa Lovell-Obatake, Mycah Dulin, Drake Javier, Sonia Vengley, Naiyah Texeira & Grace Javier.

Henry “Pat” Cobb-Adams III of Anahola, passed away on March 25, 2017, at the age of 90. He was born on October 31, 1926.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents Henry Cobb-Adams Jr. and Dorothea Cobb-Adams; sister Mary Louise Dunn; brothers John Cobb-Adams and Arthur McNicoll; and grandson Morgan Vice.
He is survived by his wife Leilani of Anahola, Kaua’i; sons Patrick (Emily) Cobb-Adams of Honolulu, Shane Cobb-Adams of Anahola, and Erin (Pua) Cobb-Adams of Anahola; daughters Diane Cobb-Adams of St. George, Utah, and Bonnie (Dennis) Vice of Coonawara, Australia; and daugther-in-law Leolani Kini of Kailua, O’ahu; igrandchildren Noah (Stacy) Vice of Australia, Maxine (Danny) Medeiros of Kailua, O’ahu, Raeanne Cobb-Adams of Kailua, O’ahu, Lia Vice of Australia, Dylan Watanabe, Kalaunuiohua Cobb-Adams, Kahanohaweo Cobb-Adams, and Wainohia Cobb-Adams of Anahola, Kaua’i; and great-grandson Kamuela Medeiros of Kailua, O’ahu; sisters Emily Brandl of Kihei, Maui and Dorothea “Tiny” Nary of Kailua, O’ahu.
Friends may visit with the family for a Celebration of Life at the Cobb-Adams’ River House in Anahola on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 3 p.m. Services will also be held on O’ahu on Saturday April 29, 2017, at the Kamehameha Schools Chapel with Visitation at 9 a.m., and service to follow at 10 a.m.
