LIHUE — “They didn’t stop coming,” said Brenda Biehler of Showtime Characters who plied her balloon artistry Saturday during the Kukui Grove Center’s Spring Celebration. “I went through a lot of balloons.”
The balloon artist was just one of the facets of the spring celebration which included the appearance of “Moana” of the Disney movie who surprised numerous people by appearing in the line of celebrants waiting on balloon creations.
Crafts were being monitored by students of the Kauai Community College Early Education program under the supervision of Tina Fujimoto.
The bristle of activity paused when EB (short for “Easter Bunny”) appeared to do several dance numbers with Moana celebrating the spring season.
