Jack Noboru Higashi, 95 years old of Kapaa, Kauai passed away at his home in Kapaa, Kauai on March 21, 2017. Born on Aug. 11, 1921, on Kauai, Hawaii he was a retired Surveyor with the State Of Hawaii
He is survived by his daughters, Rene (Tommy) Tokuda, Avis (Orlando) Anaya; son: Todd (Deannie) Higashi, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren

Ida Togadi Texeira, 83 years old, of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on March 22, 2017. Born in Lihue she was a retired nurse for Dr. Katok Chaung.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Vebencio and Juana Togadi, husband, Billy Texeira Sr.
She is survived by sons, Thomas Texeira, Lihue, William “Chucky” (Yvonne) Texeira, Maui, Alan “Robby” (Leoni) Texeira, Puhi; daughter, Brenda (Ernest) Javier, Koloa; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

William ‘Bradda’ F. Rittmeister
William “Bradda” F. Rittmeister of Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on April 1, 2017, at the age of 78. Born on Feb. 21, 1939, in Eleele, Kauai, he was a Chief Master Sargent for United States Air Force and United States Army GS12 Chief of sports. He was a Vietnam Veteran.
He was preceded in death by: William and Hannah Rittmeister, sister, Arlette Adams; daughter, Roseanna Rittmeister.
He is survived by: wife, Judy Rittmeister, sons, William “Bill” (Luana) Rittmeister, Daniel “Danny” (Dora) Rittmeister, Benjamin (Susan) Rittmeister, Benjamin “Kaulu” Rittmeister, sister, Peaches Cullen, numerous grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 7, 2017, at Kapaa Ball Field. Service noon to 4 p.m.

David Nobriga Sr.
David Nobriga Sr. of Puhi passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 14, at the age of 89. He was born in Huleia on July 9, 1927, and retired as a lead man for Grove Farm Co. Shop.
Preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Nobriga; parents, Joseph and Mary Nobriga; brothers, Joseph and Edward; sisters, Carrie Silva and Violet Fernandez; granddaughters, Vanessa Nobriga and Lori J. Nobriga-Nakamoto.
David is survived by daughters, Regina Kaui, Rosemary (Melvin) Robley; sons, David Jr. (Allison), Mark and Anthony; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Carreira; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 21, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
