Emma Soto Freitas of Kalaheo passed away at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home on March 29 at the age of 93. She was born on Kauai and was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Freitas, and son Nelson Freitas.
She is survived by daughters Yvonne Carveiro and Kathy (Corey) Rosare, son Lawrence (Valerie) Freitas, nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, at Holy Cross Church, with viewing from 8:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Church cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Freitas family with arrangements.
