PUHI — John Constantino of the Kauai Community College said they will have the first egg hunt of the Easter season on Saturday.
Nelson Batalion of the KCC Student Activities Council said keiki from 0-11 years old are invited to join the SAC crew in the 12th annual egg hunt, which will combine with “Movie Night on the Lawn.”
Registration starts at 5 p.m. with the egg hunt at 5:30, followed by lawn games and the movies featuring “Moana” and “Captain America Civil War” to start at 6 at the lawn area near the KCC gazebo.
“We got around 5,000 eggs through the courtesy of CVS Longs Drugs,” Contantino said. “And, there are a bunch of prizes and other goodies we picked up to add to the excitement.”
Guests are reminded to bring umbrellas, blankets, lawn chairs, and jackets.
Other egg hunts:
• New Hope Lihue: 9 a.m. April 16, Kauai Veterans Center. Fun, food and fellowship, Easter egg hunt to follow service.
• Prince Albert Park in Princeville. 2 p.m. April 8. Eggs are bright confetti eggs. Easter Bunny will be available for pictures, (bring own camera) 2-3 p.m. Hosted by Princeville at Hanalei Community Association.
