LIHUE — The Kauai County Council will be holding a special meeting for an executive session item 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Historic County Building.
According to the agenda, the council and the Office of the County Attorney will discuss collective bargaining proceedings between Employer Group, a national human resource organization, and various unions.
“The briefing and consultation involves consideration of the powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and/or liabilities of the council and the county,” the agenda states.
Executive sessions are not open to the public.
