LIHUE — The Kauai Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway.

Louis-James “Kamaka” Ferreira,16, was last seen at his Puhi home on March 16, 2017.

Ferreira is five 5’3” and weighs approximately 125 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair, a medium build and medium complexion. Ferreira is of Hawaiian, Filipino and Portuguese descent. He has a scar on his right shin.

Ferreira is known to frequent Kalapaki Beach.

Anyone with information about Ferreira’s whereabouts is urged to call KPD Dispatch at 241-1711 or CrimeStoppers at 246-8300.
