Doris Jean Kaye
Doris Jean Kaye of Kapaa peacefully passed away on Feb. 24. She was born in Albany, N.Y. on Jan. 11, 1927, and was a retired radiology technician.
She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Nancy Kaye Becker.
She is survived by daughter Nina Summers of Oahu, son Adam (Kanani) Kaye of Kauai, five grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25 at the Ko‘olau Hui‘ia Church at 4095 Kealia Rd. in Anahola.
The family requests aloha attire and graciously declines flowers.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Kaye family with arrangements.
Kazuko Hiromoto Ikemoto
Kazuko Hiromoto Ikemoto of Kekaha passed away at home on Oct. 30, 2016, at the age of 83. Born on Oct. 20, 1933 in Iwakuni, Japan, she was a retire tour guide.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tatsuo Ikemoto, and is survived by sons Russell (Panny Machado) of Kekaha and Lance of Fullerton, Calif., daughters Kathryn of Kekaha and Brenda of Fullerton, Calif., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
