Eleanor M. Andrade, 87, of Kea’au, HI, passed away on Feb. 7, 2017. Eleanor was born on May 20, 1929, in Kealia, Kauai. Eleanor retired as an Executive Housekeeper.
Celebration of Life to be held on March 25, 2017, at St. Catherines Church at 8 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherines Cemetery.
Survived by Daughter Joann Andrade-Medsker of Hilo; Granddaughter Haunani Hustace of Hilo; Grandson William Vegas of Honolulu; and numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Midori Yanagawa
Midori Yanagawa of Hilo, Hawaii and formerly of Makaweli passed away at Life Care Center of Hilo on Feb. 17, 2017, at the age of 100. Born in Waimea, she was a retired nurse, had also worked for the Robinson family, and a former Ballroom Dance instructor.
She is survived by daughters, Dee Kawanishi of Hilo and Vikki (Ross) Higa of Honolulu; sister, Tsuneyo Ikeda of Kaumakani; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.

Agripina ‘Pinay’ Galano Cabulisan
Agripina “Pinay” Galano Cabulisan, 87, passed away peacefully on Jan.18, 2017, at Hospice Maui. She was born on April 15, 1929, in Nagbacalan, Paoay, Ilocos Norte Philippines.
She is survived by her Children Thelma (Benjamin) Ugale of Philippines, Teresinia (Romy) Miguel of Philippines, Arturo (Jessie) Cabulisan of Kapaa, Elmer (Glenda) Cabulisan of Puhi, Clarita (Jamie) Barroga of Maui, Liza Achuela of Eleele, Alex (Judith) Cabulisan of Kapaa; 23 Grandchildren; 26 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Teodoro Eclipse Cabulisan; sons Paquito and Robert Galano Cabulisan and Daughter Estrelita “Froilan” Saddam.
A celebration of life will be on Friday, March 10, 2017. Visitation with the family is from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo.

Elaine Sadako Kashiwabara, 82, of Lihue, passed away on Feb. 11, 2017, in Straub Clinic and Hospital.
Born in Lihue, she was a retired planning department secretary for the City and County of Kauai.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence T. Kashiwabara; son, Alan (Ju) Kashiwabara; daughters, Nicole (Scott) Haitsuka and Stephanie (Kevin) Harrell; two grandchildren; brothers, Leslie (Margaret) and Alvin (Dorothy) Hashimoto; sisters, Marlene Lum and Eileen (Wilfred) Shimomura.
