LIHUE — County of Kauai offices, all of the refuse transfer stations, Kekaha Landfill, Puhi Metals Recycling Center, and the Kauai Resource Center will be closed Feb. 20, in observance of President’s Day.
The HI-5 bottle redemption center in the Arzadon Industrial Park in Kapaa and all of the neighborhood centers will also be closed.
Residential refuse pick-up will not be affected by the holiday.
Since the Kapaa and Waimea swimming pools are normally closed on Mondays, they will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in observance of President’s Day.
The Kauai Bus will be running on a reduced schedule on Monday.
