Finnegan Warrack hasn’t gotten over the Valentine’s Day cookies from the Kauai Culinary Market so doesn’t know about all the goodies at the American Culinary Federation Breakfast coming up Sunday at Kauai Community College.
He was busy playing with his trucks and waiting for a smoothie while Beth Tokioka and Marty Amaro (they’re coming back to the Kauai Community Market Saturday for one last chance for pre-sale tickets before the ACF Breakfast!) … Keith and Charlene Burgess (they went to the Sweets and Sweet Things at the Parish Hall, too) have guests who are leaving that night so will be doing the breakfast before getting their guests on the plane.
Wayne Miyata (what kind of specials is Joey Tanaka going to have?) said they’ll be doing the pottery sale (hear that, Edwin Vea — he was shopping at the Waimea Alumni and Friends Carnival Country Store — great baked creations from the school’s cafeteria!) because the construction should be cleared enough for the breakfast.
Ike Cockett didn’t let the rain stop him from getting Chef Sam Choy to do the market where Chris Kauwe (the rain kept his student crews from waking up) got the chef some Honi Honi Honey, and Elvrine Chow didn’t know about the visit so the radio couldn’t tell the world.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Kauai (that’s a Finnegan thing from the Kauai Culinary Market)!
