PUHI — The Kauai premiere of the film, “Island Earth,” will be showing at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center on Friday, Feb. 10.
The film focuses on the GMO controversy in Hawaii and people who are moving away from the industrial agricultural system that relies on pesticides and fossil fuels. It is directed by Cyrus Sutton, an Emmy Award-winning film maker and professional surfer.
It is free and doors open at 6 p.m., with the movie starting at 7. Afterward, Sutton will be on hand to answer questions.
