LIHUE — The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is seeking volunteers to prepare taxes for the elderly and people with low-income housing this tax season on the Westside.
Training will begin at Immaculate Conception School in Lihue next week.
From January to the beginning of April, volunteers may expect to commit about 75 hours to the program, said Coleen Kasperek, a volunteer with the tax program.
Taxes will be prepared at Kekaha, Kaumakani, Kalaheo and Koloa neighborhood centers as well as the Hanapepe Library.
