Who knew that two little obscure games for the Nintendo Game Boy would blossom into an international multi-billion dollar entertainment behemoth! It is fantastic how many Pokemon books we sell at our bookstore!
In fact, its popularity has been strong and steady since the games first debuted back in the 1990s. And with the advent of cellphone “apps”, Pokemon has branched into this market as well with their viral “Pokemon Go”, spreading the phenomenon to every age group of phone user like wildfire.
Seriously! A good percentage of people we see buying this book and/or playing Pokemon Go are adults! Some even make it a family outing!
This “Pokemon Deluxe Essential Handbook” is for those who have discovered (or rediscovered) the allure of Pokemon! It is your passport to your Pokemon enjoyment and your field guide to discovery of everything Pokemon!
Contained within its many full-color high-quality pages is a bounty of information on over 700 pokemon that are out there. From Abomasnow to Zygarde (including the timeless Pikachu and Jigglypuff), this alphabetically arranged guide covers all 18 “types” of pokemon.
Also included is how to say each name, their height and weight, their possible moves, their evolution forms, which “type” they are, and (most importantly) which region to find them in!
One of the coolest things about this book is that it also gets young people who don’t particularly like reading to devour a book because they are reading something fun and yet they are still learning new words and expanding their vocabulary. Hey, reading is reading!
And for those adults who’ve delved into Pokemon, it’s great to actually know what you’re getting into!
With this information at your fingertips, imagine what you can achieve! You might literally “catch them all”!
