The Kauai Youth Football League is taking registrations for its spring tackle football program starting Monday at two locations.
According to Brad Hiranaka, the KYF president, the league will be accepting registrations for its elementary division, or players in the fourth through sixth grades, and its intermediate division, or players in the seventh and eighth grades.
Additionally, KYF is also accepting applications for cheer coaches for the Lihue district, as well as coaches for its flag football program from all districts and age groups. The flag football program is available for players in the kindergarten division, or ages 4 and 5 years old, and in the first and second grade levels.
Registration will take place Monday and Friday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Mayor Bryan J. Baptiste Memorial Sports Park pavilion and at the Nawiliwili Beach Park.
