Alvin ‘Biggie’ Mancao
Alvin “Biggie” Mancao of Lihue, Kauai passed away at the age of 75 on Dec. 29, 2016, in Lihue. Born on Sept. 1, 1941, in Waimea, Kauai and was a U.S. Army veteran and a team member of Kaua’i Collision Center.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alvarez Adams; father, Crispin Mancao; and daughter, Angela Georgette Mancao.
Alvin is survived by his sons, Lawrence “Larry” (Rita) Mancao of Everett, Washington, and Alvin Potenciano Mancao of Tacoma, Washington; grandchildren, Anna Mancao, Anthony Mancao, Jordan Mancao, and Jacob Mancao; brothers, George (Rhiza) Alvarez of Honolulu, Andrew Mancao of Honolulu, and Michael Adams of Lihue; sisters, Abigail Ownbey of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Angela Triplett of San Diego, California, Rosalie Diaz of USA, Gloria Kenney of Lihue, Paula (Emerson) Souza of Waianae, and Gladys (John) Jacinto of Kaumakani; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. with the remembrance service to begin at 3 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers are welcomed.

George “Keoki” Keolaopio Kauileilehua Keamoai of Hanapepe, passed away at the age of 78 on Dec. 25, 2016, at Kauai Care Center. Born on Jan. 31, 1938, in Puuwai, Niihau, he worked in irrigation with Gay and Robinson in the Sugar Plantation.
He is preceded in death by his daughters, Judy Nanikaua’i Keamoai, and Deborah Puananikauanoe Keamoai; and grandson, Taylor Keola Kanahele-Keamoai.
Keoki is survived by his wife, Virginia Ku’uleilani Nizo-Keamoai; daughters, Faith Nalei Keamoai, Hope Ka’imi Strickland, Charity Mano Kanahele, Yolanda Kemamo Betts, and Shyla Pilialoha Ho; ten grandchildren, Destinie Maka Keamoai-Barnes, Justina Manolani Keamoai, Justine Hau’oli Gardener, Rosemary Ka’imilei Keamoai-Strickland, Patrick Keoki Keamoai-Strickland, Noaa Kahanamana Kubo, Samson Ikaika Keamoai-Strickland, Christopher Keola Kanahele, Tiana Wailama Kanahele, and Chris Napomaika’i Kanahele; three great-grandchildren, Destinie Akauanoe Keamoai-Barnes, Zymani Ho’omana Keamoai-Hall, and Zyreiah Mahina Gardener; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017. Visitation will be at 10 to noon with services to begin at 12 noon. Burial will be followed at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.

Consuelo Carinio
Consuelo Carinio, 74 years old of Kapaa, Kauai passed away on Dec. 21, 2016, at her home.
Born on Jan. 16, 1942 in Lihue, Kauai she was a retired housekeeper.
She is survived by her daughters: Marilou (Trevor) Boone and Diana Carinio; sons: Barry (Ella) Carinio, Simeon Carinio, Jr., Fredinand Carinio, Kirk (Carla) Carinio, Ernesto Alalem; sister: Dolores Kama; brothers: Joseph (Andi) Alalem, Timothy (Jan) Alalem; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at St. Catherines Church in Kapaa from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
