LIHUE — Maile Alfiler was promoted to member services manager for Kauai Island Utility Cooperative.
Alfiler joined Kauai Electric in 1990 and previously held positions in the Accounting, Information Technology and Member Services departments. She has been the Member Services Operations Supervisor for the past 11 years.
During her tenure at KIUC, she has worked on projects that enhance systems and services for our members, such as SmartHub, which allows members to access their accounts and pay online.
“I am grateful and humbled by the opportunity to continue working with my KIUC ohana and members of our island home, Kauai,” Alfiler said.
Born and raised on Kauai, Alfiler graduated from Kapaa High School. She attended Kauai Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Accounting and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
