LIHUE– The four HI5 bottle redemption centers that are operated by Kauai Community Recycling Services will be closed for a few days next week while the new processing vendor mobilizes.
The facilities will be closed on the dates noted below:
• Kapaa, 962 Kipuni Way, Arzadon Industrial Park, from Dec.19 to Dec. 21
• Kilauea, 5-2723 Kuhio Highway, behind Kauai Mini Golf, Dec. 20
• Kekaha, Kekaha Road, across from the old sugar mill, Dec. 17 and Dec. 21
• Koloa, 2810 Poipu Road, next to the fire station, Dec. 18
The HI5 redemption center at the Kauai Resource Center on Ahukini Road in Lihue will be temporarily closed while the new operator completes the state certification process.
