Faith Campbell said voting for the decorated Christmas trees will go until Friday, not Jan. 2. The trees are up and available for voting during the Wilcox Medical Center’s (kudos on a great food drive benefiting the Kauai Independent Food Bank) operating hours so voters can even check out the new healthy improvements to the cafeteria.
Wilcox was a sponsor for the Kauai Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Membership Meeting and 28th annual Silent Auction where Beau Acoba had to do some quick change juggling between the Tsunami Taiko and his business affiliation (yep, the two Rons — Ron Wiley and Ron Wood — were there).
Kudos to Grace delos Reyes, Celia Melchor Questin, Kealoha Takahashi and all the county Agency on Elderly Affairs ohana on a great Kauai RSVP Recognition Day luncheon at the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort (the food was great, Chef Toto Santos, and the seasonal decorations are pretty neat, too). Good job with the emcee-ing, Aunty Bev Muraoka, and kudos to Howard Toki and Skip Caycayon (he’s got his new book of paintings out, too) on the great music.
Jaye Gayagas Youn said the Boys & Girls Club volunteers are coming to help decorate the Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut Beach.
