KILAUEA – Anaina Hou Community Park is providing a free holiday dinner on Thanksgiving.
The meal of turkey, ham, gravy, stuffing and side dishes for as many as 400 people will be served at Anaina Hou from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
“This beautiful annual event is only possible thanks to the generosity of many in our community,” said Thomas Daubert, executive director of Anaina Hou Community Park, home of Kauai Mini Golf. “This community event was begun by our founders, Bill and Joan Porter, and our team is proud to continue this tradition of giving.”
Many donors make this event possible and the public is welcome.
There are other free community events on Thursday.
The Kapaa Interfaith Association will host a Thanksgiving service at 10 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapaa, followed by a free luncheon at 11 in the gym.
Bhakti Yoga Shack is hosting a potluck Thanksgiving dinner near Anahola. “Come together with friends old and new for a memorable Thanksgiving celebration,” said a press release. Info: 551-6610.
