Kudos to Mauka Man and the ohana on running the Haunted House (Lori Almarza jumped when the clown jumped down from his perch) throughout the month of October!
Lori was super busy the final weekend before Halloween, fielding tickets on Friday (kudos to Mitchell Collier and Lt. Mark Ozaki on another great KPAL boxing showcase!) and still managing to catch some bouts.
Stacie Chiba-Miguel was another going-crazy person (she said they had more than 300 costumed entries Saturday!), but was able to get a cash award to the 4-H Livestock Club for their efforts at the Haunted House.
Kaulana Finn was juggling between taking care of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Saturday at the walk, and still going to the fathers’ conference.
Meanwhile, kudos to Charlene Dorsey, Sarah Date, and all the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (Pat Pablo said they’ll have some of the Becky Komaki poi balls at the Veterans Day Parade Saturday!) on the great craft fair out on the Westside (yep, Brycen Hiraoka sold out all the food), and Steve Kline (KVMH golf tournament, Nov. 20 in Poipu) was busy pulling numbers.
