POIPU — Sheraton Kauai Resort announces Supporting the Language of Kauai, Inc., as its September beneficiary for the Table 53 program.
Net proceeds for food and beverage at Table 53 in the oceanfront RumFire Poipu Beach restaurant will be donated to the nonprofit organization this month to benefit Kawaikini New Century Public Charter School.
Supporting the Language of Kauai, Inc., is a fiscal sponsor and the fundraising arm for Kawaikini New Century Public Charter School.
Kawaikini’s mission envisions “a thoughtful, knowledgeable and healthy community where the language, beliefs and practices of the indigenous people of Hawaii have become instinctive.”
Over $150,000 has been raised for worthy causes to benefit the Kauai community through the Table 53 program since its inception in October 2012.
