The Kauai Chorale will begin rehearsals for its winter concerts on Monday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Island School. New members may sign up during the first three weeks of rehearsals.
As Kauai’s only community chorus consisting of members from all communities of Kauai, all are invited to join this organization (no auditions necessary). All are welcome who enjoy singing and are willing to attend Monday rehearsals from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Directed by Lois Ricciardi and accompanied by Virginia Shepherd, music will consist of a range of holiday music; some familiar with new arrangements, some with exciting rhythms, some beautiful and inspiring, and some quite funny.
Membership dues for the season are $30. Scholarships are available for students age 25 and younger.
Concert dates are Saturday, Dec. 17, KCC Performing Arts Theater, and Sunday, Dec. 18, St. Regis Grand Ballroom.
