It was nice to see Candice Schwalbach of the MS Hawaii even if there wasn’t an MS Walk scheduled. Candice came from Honolulu to accept a Table 53 check from Chip Bahouth and his Sheraton Kauai crew for MS. Nicole Okuna was doing duty for June Cappiello (The Kauai Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas is Aug. 16), and it’s always a pleasure to run into Gen. (ret. USAF) Mary Kay Hertog and Krystal Morinaka.
Chip was planting seeds into the MS group on how the Sheraton Kauai can help with their future fundraising efforts.
OK, time to get ready and check out the Arnold Leong flying saucers at the Mahelona Hospital bon dance.
Thank you to Captain Bruce Hay, Suzi and Sheridan on all you folks have done for Kauai! Capt. Hay relinquishes the command of the Pacific Missile Range Facility at Mana to Captain Vincent R. Johnson in formal Change of Command ceremonies today at PMRF.
Don’t forget to vote on Saturday!
