Happy birthday to Janice Bond who celebrated her special day Thursday. Janice was busy helping to coordinate the “Tulsi in Town” event at the Ha Coffee Bar (where was the parking?) Wednesday.
Kudos to Pat Baniaga, Jeffrey Kimoto and Mike Curtis on doing a great job with the 41st annual Hawaii Seniors State Softball Tournament in Hanapepe. Stephen Fujii said Earl Tanaka (of the Pueo on the Big Island) was asking if he wanted an autograph, and Da Mix Plate (from Maui) was looking for green papaya … too bad, they missed the Kukui Grove Monday Market by a day.
Ron Wood has been doing a good job balancing DJ duty and still getting in play time with the Lihue A’s (couldn’t find the Cowboy Chili, Helen Lacono).
OK, time to get rolling … Heiva i Kauai coming up this weekend at the Kapaa Beach Park.
