Jackie Grant had to learn how to use a tape rule as she and Kristal Muhich were getting the Kauai Juice Co. store ready for opening Thursday at the Poipu Shopping Village (Valerie Roland said to watch for the sidewalk special next week).
Lorna Ouderkirk (she was also in charge of all the pa‘u marshals at the Koloa Plantation Days parade — didn’t see Rod Sueoka with a Koloa Plantation shirt) told the Pizzetta girls go hurry up before the rush hits, Sunday night … there she goes on delivery. Frank Cruz (how’s the new house?) and Cruz Control opened the final event of the Koloa Plantation Days at the Old Koloa Town Courtyard, and Melissa McFerrin- Warrack said Finnegan (he’s only 5 years old and got to open the event on microphone) could have a nice steak-and-rice dinner for a reasonable price at the Garden Island Grille (Larry Rivera was playing, Sunday night).
Lt. James Combs had The Salvation Army in Koloa open for the occasion, and there goes Finnegan, headed for the Koloa Mill Ice Cream and Coffee!
