Jeff Sacchini (The Kauai Marathon is coming, Sept. 4!) was in the midst of the shoppers at the Kauai Culinary Market and made sure everyone knew Justin Kai was the Living Foods executive chef.
Dr. John Gilmore was doing his blood pressure checks in his palaka, but had time to introduce the new doctor at The Clinic at Poipu (Dr. Narreinar Williams is so new, no palaka shirt, yet), and Helen Lacono (she’s cooking at the state senior softball tournament starting Tuesday at Hanapepe) had her summer wear on. No matter how hot the weather, soup’s still on!
