The Tuesday night victory at the summer basketball league playoffs advances the Lakers to the Saturday championship games where the boys division 4 team will face the Supersonics starting at 8:45 a.m. at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
The Supersonics also took their playoff match with a 51-0 shutout over the Lihue Warriors. Raindell Fernandez led the charge with 17 points and Kaina Hasegawa added 14 points.
Hanakila, division 3 boys, got double-digit scoring from Chanson Hawelu-Inanod (15 points), Kawai Apuna (10 points) and Karia Nuuhiwa-Gonda (10 points) in its 62-5 win over the Thunder 2A who finished with AJ Galiza netting three points.
With the win, Hanakila will face Papalina in a 9:30 a.m. game.
Kylan Constantino blossomed for 12 points and Aden Ringor added nine points to lead the Supersonics to a 40-26 win over the Thunder 1A in the final playoff match. Micah Agtunon and Xaerys Dela Cruz scored eight and seven points, respectively, to lead the Thunder 1A effort.
The Supersonics, division 3 boys, advances to face Kapaa in the title game which tips off at 10:15 a.m.
