It was a good thing Anna Baudouin was at the Kauai Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Thursday because while the event was going on and people were taking tours of the Kauai Humane Society, Anna was on the verge of a Pokemon battle for the gym (yes, the Kauai Humane Society is a gym, and the sign near the Large Dog Park is a Pokéstop).
Anna (even Capt. Bruce Hay and his family were not aware of the battle) said she grew up with Pokémon so knows all about them.
Sally Cravens was going crazy checking out her Tiles (she said everybody should have one because they’re so inexpensive), and didn’t even say that Eden Raquel has a Tile.
Janice Akiyama was the lucky person who won the only prize they gave away, and Ron Wood didn’t even get his Kauai Coffee. Ron Wiley didn’t need a microphone to get people’s attention to hear Mark Perriello and Penny Cistaro, and who knew that Diann Hartman was a Humane Society board member?
