The Kaulupono and the Kauai Lynx, both division 3 girls, won their matches Thursday night as the summer basketball league season winds down at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Kierstin Gummerus topped Kaulupono with 13 points in the team’s 47-15 win over the Ao‘Uka Rebels. Kaylah Santos had eight points with Anyia, Kaye Serapio and Hazel each added six points.
Brooklyn Alayvilla topped the Rebels with six points.
Jessica Cezar finished with nine points to lead the Kauai Lynx to its 31-18 win over Westside in the nightcap. Amalya Sales chipped in with six points.
Ashlyn Agena topped Westside with seven points.
The summer basketball league wraps up Saturday with four games at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
The Lihue Lakers take on the Lihue Warriors in a boys division 4 matchup starting at 8 a.m., followed by the Kauai Lynx girls division 3 taking on the Ao‘uka Rebels at 9 a.m.
The Kauai Lynx girls division 4 girls match up with the Ao‘uka Rebels B in the 10 a.m. tipoff, and the boys division 3 Papalina wrap up the day against the Kauai Thunder 2A starting at 11 a.m.
Playoffs for the girls and boys divisions start next week.
