Adrian Bulosan and Wes Perreira unveiled their Molokoa Food Company lunchwagon Saturday night at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School media class fundraiser.
“This is our first time coming out,” Bulosan said. “We’ll be setting up at the Kauai Veterans Center parking lot on weekdays from 11 a.m.”
Kevin Matsunaga, instructor for the CKMS media class, said the Saturday night street event featuring food trucks, crafters, and bingo, is a fundraiser for the media class.
“We’re going to be doing it on the first weekend of the month,” Matsunaga said. “The next one will be on Aug. 6. That’s the first weekend after we come back to school. We’ll have another one on Sept. 10.”
The street event runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and includes the CKMS media class tent with its unique corn offering.
