Kapaa High School is celebrating its 70th birthday on Sept. 23 and 24.
“We are looking forward to having alumni representing all classes to participate in these wonderful festivities as we recognize the first graduating class, the Class of 1946,” wrote KHS Principal Daniel Hamada.
Sept. 23 activities include campus visits, lunch and a homecoming assembly. On Sept. 24, alumni are invited to attend the homecoming football game. A special luau is planned that evening at Smith’s Tropical Paradise.
”Since many of you have been away for years, it will be a great opportunity to interact with old friends and school mates to reminisce on days gone by and foster new ties,” Hamada wrote.
Those planning to attend are asked to contact Leila, 821-4401. ext. 105.
