Wesley Keawehawaii Hee of Wailua Houselots passed away at Straub Clinic & Hospital on June 13, 2016 at the age of 35. He was born on Jan. 15, 1981, and was employed at Lihue Department of Water in Customer Service.
Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Hiram Milvet Kamakea Hee Sr. and Theodora Leimomi Hee; maternal grandfather, Andres Salvador; aunty, Hiralene Johnson.
Wesley is survived by his father, Henry Keawehawaii (Grace) Hee, mother, Carmela Rosario; sister, Kehaulani Hee, Candace Toda; brothers, Bryson Toda, Soluwa Rosario, Jay Rosario, Micah Hee, Josef Hee, Jacob Hee, Zachary Hee; maternal grandmother, Dionisia Salvador; niece, Karsley Hee; nephews, Kahiau Hee, Kayden Rosario, Kobejay Rosario; aunties, KeeLan (David) Lambert, Lehua (Kalani) Cotner, Marie Salvador, Elsa Christian, Cindy (Kaipo) Kelekoma; uncles, Hiram (Amy) Hee Jr., Scott Johnson, Andres (Mila) Salvador Jr., Jonathan (Gloria) Salvador; numerous other aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue with visitation from 11 a.m. and services celebrated at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Angel Gregory Aranio of Omao passed away on June 7, 2016 at the age of 62.
His is survived by his girlfriend Mona Costa, son Kalani Duarte, daughter Michelle (Jeremiah) Banks, son Greg (Tiffany) Aranio & 9 grandchildren.
His celebration of life will be held on July 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Poipu Beach Park, pot luck style, BYOB.

Catalina “Lina” Melchor Lahep Agcaoili passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at the age of 91. She was born on Dec. 15, 1924, in Claveria, Philippines. Lina was a retired seamstress and owner of Lina’s Boutique in Lihue.
Preceded in death by first husband, Paulo C. Raralio; son, Robert Bernard Raralio; Father, Mariano Balanay Lahep; Mother, Eulalia Melchor Domingues; Step-father, Dionicio Domingues; and Sisters, Mercy Honorato and Irene Carter.

A native of Kauai, Diane Louise Carvalho Olores was born on Jan. 29, 1951 to Hilda & Raymond Carvalho.
She is survived by her husband Tony along with her children Staci, Preston, Isha and her three grandchildren Chrislyn 26, Clayton Jr. 24 and Gavin 17. Her siblings are Robert Steven Baretto, Richard Carvalho, Manuel Carvalho and Robert Carvalho.
Memorial services will be held at Hanamaulu Beach Park, main pavilion at noon on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

Helen Silva Obrero of Puhi passed away in Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 15, 2016, at the age of 79. She was born in Hawaii on Feb. 4, 1937, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Alvaro Obrero; parents, Alfred & Trinda Silva; sister, Lauretta; brother, Thomas Silva.
Helen is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Aloha Church with viewing from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Demision Patricio of Kekaha passed away at the age of 85 on June 19, 2016 at Kaua’i Veteran’s Memorial Hospital. Born on June 28, 1930 in Laoag City, Philippines, he was a Drip Irrigator with the Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Basilo Patricio; daughters, Lucita (William) Bocoboc of Wahiawa, Honolulu, Nancy (Sergio Ramirez) Alonzo of Richmond, California, Josie (Lito Dayoc) Patricio of the Philippines, Mila (Shaun Ghostasbi) Patricio of Richmond, California, and Joy (Joseph Lozada) Patricio of Venice, California; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and brother, Simeon (Martina) Patricio of Kalaheo, Kaua’i.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with Mass at 11 a.m. A burial will be followed at the Kekaha Public Cemetery.

On the morning of June 11, 2016, at the age of 85 and while surrounded by family, Felisa Meyer of Santa Clara, CA passed away of natural causes.
Felisa was born in Kauai, on Jan. 14, 1931. She was the second child of Juan Torres and Antonia Torrcier. She met her husband, Carl Meyer, while he was in the army and stationed in Hawaii. They resided in Indiana, Florida, and Georgia before settling down in Santa Clara, CA. Felisa will Be Remembered For Her Immense Love Of Family, Her Loving Kindness And Ready Smile. She Was Loved By So Many.
Felisa Is Survived By Son, Larry Galanta Of Anaheim, Her Daughter, Nita Meyer Of Santa Clara, Her Daughter Lisa Meyer Of Napa, Her Six Grandchildren: Aaron Meyer, Michael S. Meyer, Shay Meyer, Nicole Xavier, Devan Day And Darien Lyke; Her Four Great Grandchildren, And Her Brothers Albert Galanta Of Oahu And Nathan Galanta Of Las Vegas.
Felisa Was Preceded In Death By Her Husband, Carl Meyer, Her Sons, Brian Meyer And Michael D. Meyer, And Her Brother Chris Torres.
The Memorial Service Followed By A Celebration Of Her Life, Will Be Held At 11:30 A.m. On Saturday, July 2, 2016 At Jamison-Brown House In Santa Clara, Ca. Felisa’s Ashes Will Be Scattered In Kauai And A Private Interment Will Be Held At Cedar Lawn Memorial Park In Fremont, Ca.

She Is Preceded In Death By Her Husband, Sanichi Sakimae; And Survived By Her Son, Bruce (Becky) Sakimae; Three Grandchildren, Sarah (Peter) Sakimae Chi, Taylor (Van) Sakimae, And Garrett Sakimae; And Four Great-Grandchildren, Krayson Dao, Kron Sakimae, Jayden Chi, And Kairi Sakimae.
