John Lustman
John Allan Lustman, was born December 24, 1929 in Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away at the age of 86 on May 26, 2016 at Garden Isle Health Care. He was retired and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea.
Preceded in death by his twin brother, Raymond W. Lustman; and parents, John and Alessandra Lustman; he is survived by his daughter, Anita L. Lustman of Omao; grand-daughter, Renee Seamster of Omao; and sister, Lillian Buffone of Millbury, Massachusetts.
Graveside services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Aloha attire is suggested.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, on memory of John.
A memorial service will be held at the Koloa Union Church at a later date.

Clifton Masato
Clifton Masato Kadota of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 28, 2016, at the age of 91. He was born and raised on Kauai, then moved to the mainland after Army service in WWII. There, he pursued a welding career with notable work on military submarines and space projects. In 1987, Clifton retired back to Kapaa with his wife, Cora (deceased 2014).
Clifton is survived by siblings, Hideko & Katsuyoshi of Lihue, HI; children, Linda of Schaumberg, IL and Richard of Coronado, CA; grandchildren, Annie of Rancho Santa Fe CA & Paul of Chicago IL.
Donations are suggested to All Saints’ Episcopal Church.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Kadota family with arrangements.
Robert Kato
Robert H. Kato, 78, of Kaumakani, Kauai passed away on May 15, 2016 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on Oct. 8, 1937, in Wailuku, Maui he was a retired teacher.
Preceded in death by his parents Kanichi & Chiyomi Kato.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Kato, son: Douglas Kato; daughters: Wendy Kato, Staci Kato; brothers: Don Kato, Ralph Kato, Harold Kato and sister: Jean Kato Yamatake, Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9:00to 9:45 a.m., where memorial services will be at 10 a.m.
