The Kauai Lynx girls basketball program will be hosting an invitational basketball tournament starting Thursday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Clarence Sales, coach of the Kauai Lynx program, said divisions will be girls in the eighth grade and boys in the fifth grade. Additionally, there will be goodwill games for girls sixth grade and under as well as a few games for third grade.
Sales said the tournament, which runs through Sunday, will be featuring teams from Maui and Hilo.
Action starts at 4 p.m. Thursday when Kaulupono with coach Bobby Kamakele will host the Con3 Jacks in a girls goodwill matchup.
The Supersonics will take on Team Lihue in a 5 p.m. tipoff in a boys game followed by the Lihue Lakers hosting Con3 Jacks in the 6 p.m. match.
Championship games for the fifth grade boys is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday followed by the eighth grade girls title match at 2:30 p.m.
