Ruben Julian Rea
Ruben Julian Rea of Wailua, Kaua’i passed away on May 4, 2016 in Lihue, Kaua’i. Born in Quezon City, Philippines, he graduated from high school in Los Angeles, California and moved to Honolulu in the mid 1960’s to attend the University of Hawai’i at Manoa where he earned a Bachelors and Masters of Arts Degree. Having worked for Safeway during college, he later taught speech and english at Chaminade University, Hawai’i Pacific University and the University of Hawai’i College Systems. He began a career in investments at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter before moving on to Bankoh Investments Group and later becoming a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Remy Rea; step-son, Micah Alayvilla of Lihue; daughter, Candace Rea Beale of Kaneohe; step-daughter, Danielle Alayvilla of Lihue; grandchildren, Cameron Beale, Autumn Alayvilla, and Chloe Alayvilla; half-brother, Elmo Rea Jr. of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Rosalinda (Andy Seretan) Rea of Seal Beach, California and Lilian Rea of Kent, Washington; and niece, Avery Seretan of California.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at his residence, 6394 Kaahele Street in Wailua Homesteads on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Visitation will be at 4:30 p.m. with services at dusk.
Casual attire is suggested and no monetary gifts or flowers are being requested by the family.

Donna Lou Dalesandro
Donna Lou Dalesandro, 63, of Wailua Kauai, Went to the Lord on June 17, 2015 in Honolulu. She was born in Chicago Illinois but lived in Hawaii the majority of her life. She was a well-known artist who studied at The Illinois Institute of Art — Chicago.
She is survived by her husband, Geoffrey Townsend; step daughter, Tiana Townsend; sister, Lynn Shade and husband John Shade; brother Michael Dalesandro and wife Stacey. Memorial services and celebration of life will be held at Donna’s Resident 6522 Kaahele St. Kapaa, Kauai. Celebration of Life begins Saturday, May 14, 2016, at noon. A scattering of ashes ceremony will be held.

Albert Souza
Albert Souza born on May 11, 1931 on Kaua’i passed away on May 9, 2016. He was retired and a Marine Veteran.
Albert is survived by his wife, Millie Souza; son, Albert John Souza of California; daughters, Donna Wyatt of California and Margaret (Troy) Kaneshiro of Kaua’i; six grandchildren; and sister, Bertha DeCosta.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Saint Raphael’s Church in Koloa at 9 a.m. Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Kaua’i Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe.
