Brenda Turville of Showtime Characters said she still had a gig in Kekaha where she had to do balloons and be Mickey and Minnie Mouse Saturday!
Brenda was one the many vendors at the STEPS Parent Child Fair Saturday, which made for a super busy weekend for Stacie Chiba Miguel and Chantal Zarbaugh (she even got to try the Larry Moises goggles). Kudos to Cathy Shanks, Jeannie Odo (she said even Hawaii Senate President Ron Kouchi dropped in), and all the volunteers who make this event a success.
Mary Buza Sims of St. Theresa’s School (they have their carnival this weekend) was probably enjoying her last one before moving to Seattle, Washington.
Judy Cano from the Department of Education (kudos on bringing back Keiki ID!) had her whole family helping out, and Chantal said to mark July 16 on the calendar for the Back to School Bash (Judy will probably be there, too!).
Ron Wiley was doing the emcee thing, but had time to go visit Ali Yamashita (she grew up on Kauai) and Kirstin Seal of TLC PR representing the Department of Transportation at the distracted driving simulator sponsored by Servco Kauai (no wonder the Subaru Forester was on the mall).
