LIHUE — Which quilt is your favorite?
There is still time to cast a ballot for the Viewer’s Choice Award at the Kauai Quilt Show which is running until March 29 at the Kauai Society of Artists gallery at the Kukui Grove Center.
Opportunity to earn the Opportunity Quilt is also still available at the quilt show which feature more than 60 quilts created by Kauai residents.
The Opportunity Quilt is unique in that visitors to the Kauai Quilt Show, two years ago were presented squares to complete and return to the show organizers. As the pieces came back, they represented locations from around the state as well as the mainland. The pieces were assembled to form the Opportunity Quilt, a fundraiser for the Kauai Quilt Guild, and Nene Quilters.
Many of the quilts, including special donation quilts, are available for sale. The donation quilt sales benefit one of several Kauai nonprofit organizations.
There is no admission fee. Show hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
