Dennis Brown, CEO and president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawaii, said the 2016 “Super” Bowl for Kids’ Sake Bowling was truly sold out on Saturday at the Kauai Bowl in the Rice Shopping Center in Lihue.
“Last year, we had four open lanes,” Brown said. “This year, it’s all full. There are no open lanes.”
Generous donors and sponsors filled the bowling center, raising a total of more than $27,000 at the fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kauai chapter.
“We had a goal of $25,000,” said Kaulana Finn, Kauai director for Big Brothers Big Sisters. “We are already at $27,000 and whatever funds we generate tonight will be extra. We are so grateful for the generosity of everyone.”
