The Kauai Police Activities League announced registration for flag football programs in Kapaa, Lihue, Kalaheo, and Waimea for all school-aged youth, from kindergarten to high school senior.
Registration forms can be downloaded from the KPAL website, www.kauai.gov/KPAL and submitted to the respective registration site.
Registration for the Kapaa flag football program is being held at the KPAL Kapa‘a Youth Center, below Mahelona Hospital, every Monday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., from March 21 through April 11.
Lihue registration will be held at the KPAL LihueYouth Center, next to the Vidinha soccer field, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday, March 24 through April 14.
Those interested in the Kalaheo program can register at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday, March 23 through April 13.
To register for the Waimea flag football program, visit the Waimea Neighborhood Center on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., beginning March 22 through April 12.
Registration forms for all programs can also be dropped off at Born Hawai‘i, located at 4-1526 Kuhio Highway in Kapaa.
The registration fee for flag football is $25 per year. KPAL offers scholarships to those who are part of the free lunch program at schools. Proof of qualification is required at registration.
The flag football practice schedule will be determined by each coach once all registration forms have been collected.
