Candace Boxer of Ono Pops said it was a “stick Saturday” after having meat on a stick with Cindy Lin (she wants to try all 75 Ono Pops flavors!) and following that with dessert of Pink Lemon Cream (ask Candace about the cracked seed and lemonade) at the Kauai Community Market Saturday at the Kauai Community College.
John McClure of Moloaa Bay Coffee said they have a new Chocolate on a Stick and Amber McClure and the Amber-look-alike Nia Klutke (Grandma was out doing errands) were quick to demonstrate how it works.
Rose Ramos-Benzel was taking her home-stay students, Nanami Kaneda and Kaho Kawamitsu, on a tour of the market, and Finnegan McFerrin-Warrack (Melissa does the Chinese thing really well) was calling for the frozen pineapple dessert since he already had breakfast.
Kelly Gooding was filling in as the tent man, and Bill Spitz came late (oops, forgot that it wasn’t lunch yet). Chris Kauwe (gotta have the morning caffeine shot at Moloaa Bay) said the High Ho (she changes color, too) was helping watch the Honi Honi table, but no “x” eyes since the ground was wet.
