Indulge yourself in wine, art and music on March 5 at the Kilohana Luau Pavilion.
“One Fine Evening” is an annual fundraiser that benefits scholarships and community programs of the Rotary Club of Poipu Beach.
“This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever,” said club President Michael Carlsson.
Featured musical entertainment is the John Rivera Trio, preceded by Jazz Trane. There will be pupus from 10 top local chefs and wines for tasting that are not usually in stores on the island. Local fine artists will be creating and displaying their masterpieces. There will be a silent auction and a selfie photo booth.
Local resturants participating include Hukilau Lani, La Spezia, Keoki’s Paradise, Kauai Community College Fine Dining, Hapas, Brenneckes, Sheraton Rum Fire, Tapas at Kukuiula, Merrimans, Eating House 1849 and Kauai Beach Resort.
Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Poipu Beach Foundation. Funds are used for service projects, scholarships and community grants.
“The support of the community and our visitors for this annual fundraising event is so valuable and appreciated. We all get to have a fun time,” said Chris Young, president-elect of the Rotary Club of Poipu Beach. “And it also means that we can have a positive impact on the young people of Kauai through scholarships, adopting classes, providing books, and having a wide variety of after-school activities,” he added.
Tickets are $60 per person.
